Course Overview

This course provides a solid foundation for beginners to start their journey in learning German and lays the groundwork for advancing to higher proficiency levels.
It focuses on practical language skills essential for everyday communication and interaction in German-speaking environments.


Course Curriculum

  • Common everyday vocabulary related to personal information, family, numbers, colors, days of the week, months, and seasons.
  • Vocabulary related to professions, hobbies, food, drinks, and shopping.

  • Present tense of regular and irregular verbs (e.g., sein, haben, kommen, gehen).
  • Noun gender (der, die, das) and plural forms.
  • Basic sentence structure: subject-verb-object order.
  • Modalverbs, breakable verbs, Perfekt tense etc.

  • Expressing likes and dislikes.
  • Asking for and giving simple directions.
  • Describing daily routines and activities.
  • Talking about time and schedules.

  • Reading simple texts, such as short dialogues, emails, and simple stories.
  • Writing short sentences and paragraphs about familiar topics.

  • Listening to and understanding basic spoken German in everyday contexts.
  • Engaging in simple conversations related to personal information, preferences, and daily activities.

  • Introduction to German culture, traditions, and customs.
  • Exploring typical German foods, holidays, and celebrations.
